This is a red game worn  jersey made by CCMSports.com  exclusively for Big Red hockey. There is a red and white CCM patch sewn onto the left shoulder. 'Cornell' is sewn across the front in white letters. There is a white stripe on each sleeve. A large white stripe encircles the jersey near the bottom. The numbers are white and are also sewn on. The name on the back was removed by the equipment staff.

Kozier struggled through his sophomore season with several injuries and came into his junior year ready to go. He started off the year with two multiple-point performances before suffering another injury that didn’t keep him out of the lineup, but did throw his game off. He has shown flashes of brilliance in the past, and the staff is ready for him to close out his collegiate career on a high note. He returns for the 2000-01 campaign fully recovered and is expected to be one of the team’s leading offensive players and one of the better two-way players in the ECAC. Kozier remains one of the team’s top faceoff men and he is a physical player who has good control with the puck. He played in all 33 games last year and tallied seven goals, including two power-play markers and two game winners. His first game winner came against Ohio State, which gave the Big Red a 6-5 overtime victory over the Buckeyes. His other game winner came against Princeton in the first game of the playoffs. In a limited role as a sophomore, he had an empty net goal against Ohio State and had an assist in the Big Red’s come-from-behind win in the playoffs against Harvard in the second game. As a freshman, David picked up his first collegiate points with a hat trick in the second game of the year. His three goals in the 7-2 win over Harvard was the first hat trick for the Big Red since the 1995-96 season. He won the team’s Crimson Cup Award for his outstanding play in the Harvard series. He finished the year with six power-play goals and two game winners, one against Harvard and another against Northeastern. Overall, he had a strong rookie campaign with five multi-point games and finished the year as the Red’s fourth-leading scorer.
